Provisional Licence Holders
Standard Weekly Driving Lessons
You can have standard weekly driving lessons lasting for 1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours.
Personally, I find that pupils who can take 2 hour driving lessons benefit greatly
from the increased driving time. More can be taught and practiced in one 2 hour driving
lesson than can be done in two 1 hour driving lessons, particularly things like manoeuvres.
A 2 hour driving lesson also allows us time to travel out of Barnsley and experience
unfamiliar areas.
Semi-Intensive Driving Courses
Subject to availability, it may be possible to offer multiple 2 hour driving lessons
in one week, e.g. 4 or 6 hours. This is not the same as a full-time intensive driving
course, often (strangely) referred to as a “crash course”.
Partly Trained Driving Lessons
You may have already have some practical driving experience either with a relative
or friend, or even another driving instructor. However, for whatever reason, you
may not be happy with your progress. On a 2 hour driving lesson, I would assess your
current skill level and offer you my professional opinion on the amount of training
you would require to achieve the standard needed to successfully pass the driving
test.
Full Licence Holders
For holders of a full UK driving licence, I offer the following courses (details
can be found by clicking on the links):
Pass Plus Driving Course - 6 hour modular course aimed at newly qualified drivers
using Barnsley and the neighbouring areas.
Motorway Driving Lessons - Leaving Barnsley well behind us, these 2 hour sessions
aim to increase skill and confidence levels when driving on the motorway network.
Refresher Driving Lessons - Aimed at those who have not driven for some time or are
nervous about returning back behind the wheel, maybe after an accident.
