The Mazda 2 has a range of excellent safety features and handling capabilities that
mean the driving experience is more reassuring than that in similar sized cars. It
has a built in lane departure warning system monitoring your lane position, and Mazda’s
Smart City Brake Support system watching your speed and distance from vehicles ahead
of you. If this system detects your vehicle is getting too close and doesn’t sense
the driver reacting in time, the system will automatically apply the brakes in order
to avoid a collision, although this only operates at speeds of approximately 20mph
or less.
Driving the Mazda 2 is an absolute pleasure, the driving experience is like no other.
